Participants will learn more conversational Spanish, improve upon and add to their vocabulary, work on their accents and learn the remaining “core” grammar.

Sara Bender was born in Mexico and later received her Master’s degree in Secondary Spanish from Johns Hopkins University. She has taught and tutored Spanish for several years. Cyretta Chaput was born in San Francisco, but moved to Mexico as a child and lived there for over 30 years. She worked for the Mexican Embassy in Washington DC and as a simultaneous translator before returning to the Bay Area. She has taught Spanish in casual settings throughout the years and tutors it as well.

Participants will be introduced to the foundations of vocabulary and grammar that include key Spanish phrases, terminology for travel and basic conversation. Participants will focus on their pronunciation while they begin to feel confident speaking Spanish.
