Join She Writes Press authors Barbara Sapienza, Joanne Greene, and Donna Stoneham in a conversation about the myriad ways of knowing—spiritual, poetic, intuitive, and magic—and how intuitive knowing informed the writing of these three authors’ books. Representing thee genres, memoir, poetry, and fiction, the authors share an ability to enter into the mystery that opens, guides, and informs healing.

She lives with her husband in Sausalito, works on a memoir, dances, paints, and does tai chi.
Joanne Greene ( never bought the adage “little girls should be seen and not heard.”  She has used her voice on San Francisco radio and television, webinars, and podcasts, to explore the issues of our time with playful irreverence, candor, and compassion.  Now, with many decades of seasoning, she’s sharing what she's learned about navigating family and career, moving through pain and loss. She co-hosts the podcast All the F Words with Gabi Moskowitz and recently launched a new podcast, In This Story.  In her book, By Accident:  A Memoir of Letting Go, she emerges from life-threatening calamities with a bigfat smile and a heap of hope.  She lives in Novato with her husband and damn-near perfect goldendoodle, Moxie. Two sons, their wives, and two grandchildren are thriving in L.A.

Donna Stoneham ( is an executive coach, team facilitator, and former hospice chaplain who lives with her wife and rescue dogs in Point Richmond, California.  Her last book, Catch Me When I Fall:  Poems of Mother Loss and Healing is a healing balm for adults experiencing the pain of mother loss...this moving collection of poems and letters addresses the profound sadness, disorientation, and transformation that can happen when we give ourselves permission to fully grieve our losses—and offers readers the gift of self-reclamation.. Her previous work, The Thriver’s Edge:  Seven Keys to Transform the Way You Live, Love, and Lead was a USA Best Book Awards, a National Indie Excellence Book Awards, and an International Book Awards finalist. Donna is also a contributor to the anthology, Art in the Unbearable Time of Crisis: Women Writer’s Respond to the Call (SWP, 2022). Her work has been featured in Wall St. Journal, Woman’s Day, Buzz Feed, The Huffington Post, and on TV and radio. When she’s not coaching or writing, you’ll find her playing with her new puppy, watching British television, communing with spirit and nature in a kayak, or hiking by the shore.
