Sixteen Rivers Press - Poetry Reading (Corte Madera Store)

Sunday, May 5, 2019 - 4:00pm

Barbara Swift Brauer's second collection, Rain Like a Thief, explores the identity of self through time, relationship, and the natural world. She is the author of At Ease in the Borrowed World (Sixteen Rivers Press, 2013) and, with Jackie Kirk, Witness: The Artist's Vision in The Face of AIDS (Pomegranate Artbooks, 1996).

Poet Laureate of Sonoma County (2018-2020) Maya Khosla has written Keel Bone (winner, 2003 Dorothy Brunsman Poetry Prize) and Heart of the Tearing. In All the Fires of Wind and Light, Maya invites readers to explore the wild -- from the Sierra Nevada and Cascades Mountains to the Bay of Bengal.

Camille Norton's first book of poems, Corruption, was a 2004 National Poetry Series winner, published by Harper Perennial in 2005. In her second book, A Folio for the Dark, Camille asks us to contemplate the power of reading and writing in an open-source universe in which books as physical objects are disappearing.
