Left Coast Writers®: Marianne Lonsdale - Mama's Write: 29 Tales of Truth, Wit, and Grit

Monday, April 13, 2015 - 6:00pm

Writing in Community has become a buzz phrase, but what does it really mean? How does it help writers? And where do you go to get it? Writer Marianne Lonsdale will discuss her experiences and involvement in writing communities (Left Coast Writers, Write On Mamas, Lit Camp and Listen To Your Mother). Writing can be such a solitary endeavor, but finding community can energize and connect us. Come hear all about the benefits of collaboration! Marianne will also read from the anthology Mamas Write: 29 Tales of Truth, Wit, and Grit.

Marianne Lonsdale writes personal essays and short stories, and is now focused on developing a novel. Her work has been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Literary Mama, Fiction365, The Sun, and Pulse. She is a founding member of Write On Mamas, a San Francisco Bay Area writers group.
