Erin Byrne is the author of Wings: Gifts of Art, Life, and Travel in France, editor of Vignettes & Postcards from Paris and Vignettes & Postcards from Morocco, and writer of The Storykeeper film. Her work has won Grand Prize Solas Awards for Travel Story of the Year, the Foreword Indies Book of the Year, and an Accolade Award for film. She is host of the LitWings event series at Book Passage, which features writers, photographers, and filmmakers, and is Travel Writing and Photography curator for The Creative Process Exhibition, which travels to the world’s leading universities.
Matthew Félix is an author and podcast host. Adventure, humor, and spirituality infuse his work, which draws on his travels in over fifty countries. Matthew’s novel, A Voice Beyond Reason, is the story of a young Spaniard's awakening to his intuition. Matthew's book With Open Arms recounts his experiences in Morocco. Matthew’s show, Matthew Félix On Air, found on Facebook Live, iTunes, and elsewhere, features guests discussing writing, travel, culture, and more. Doug Cordell is a National Public Radio storyteller, Emmy-nominated writer and performer whose life adventures air on NPR's Snap Judgment and American Public Media's Marketplace. His performances in the Bay Area include solo theater and storytelling at the Marsh theaters in San Francisco and Berkeley, the Throckmorton Theatre and Stagewerx. Christina Ammon has penned stories for BBC, Orion Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, Conde Nast, and The Best Travel Writing, Irresponsible Traveler: Tales of Scrapes and Narrow Escapes, and Vignettes & Postcards from Morocco. She is the recipient of an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship and her stories have won Solas Awards as well as Grand Prize at the Book Passage Travel Writers & Photographers Conference. Christina’s company, Deep Travel Workshops, offers storytelling workshops in Morocco, Mexico, Nepal, and Spain.
Anna Elkins is an international writer and artist. Her award-winning writing has appeared in BBC Travel, GeoEx, Perceptive Travel, and other publications. She earned a Fulbright Fellowship in poetry and is the author of four books, including The Space Between and And: The Story of More. She illustrated Wings: Gifts of Art, Life, and Travel in France by Erin Byrne and Vignettes & Postcards from Morocco. Anna has traveled to six continents, creating and exhibiting paintings along the way. She co-leads Deep Travel Workshops from Mexico to Morocco, co-instructs Poets & Painters, and teaches her own prophetic art workshop, Eyes of the Heart.
