Diane Patricia Capone - Al Capone, Stories My Grandmother Told Me (Corte Madera Store)

Wednesday, January 29, 2020 - 6:00pm

For the first time, the true stories of Al Capone's private life and final days will be told by his granddaughter, Diane Patricia Capone. Al Capone, Stories My Grandmother Told Me is based on Diane's personal recollections along with the stories that her grandmother, Mae, and her father, who was Al Capone's only child, told her. It is based also on her mother, Diana Casey Capone's private journals. It is about a remarkable love that never died; about not giving up hope and finally about personal redemption.

Diane Patricia Capone was born in Miami Beach, Florida and moved to California as a teenager. She graduated from Palo Alto High School in the 60's and married and had a family while living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Business and Psychology. After working in Venture Capital and other business positions, she completed a Masters in Counseling at Santa Clara University. She worked for the next twenty years as a Counselor and an Instructor at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA. Al Capone, Stories My Grandmother Told Me is her first book.
