Learn to decode the Hebrew alef-bet! 

Being able to read Hebrew fluently is the foundation for all successful Hebrew language learning. Students of all ages and levels will master reading Hebrew in Hebrew with regular daily practice in this comprehensive course.

The Reading Hebrew with Tikva program will develop your ability to read Hebrew accurately and fluently. The goal is to practice and master basic reading skills in preparation for furthering vocabulary study.

Class open to all ages.

Tikva Farber is a recipient of The 2016 Helen Diller Award for Excellence in Jewish Education (San Francisco-Bay Area and Sonoma County). She is a Hebrew and Judaic Studies teacher with over 30 years experience teaching adults, teens, and children of all ages. Tikva taught Hebrew immersion intensives in Israel at the ulpan of Kibbutz Sdot Yam, Hebrew and Judaic Studies at the Hebrew Academy of San Francisco, Brandeis Hillel Day Schools and Congregation Kol Shofar. She is a published poetry writer in Memories of Tomorrow. Tikva grew up in Israel and lived most of her life in Marin County, California where she raised her four children.
