Two Fridays: July 26, August 2 • 10:30 am – 12:30 pm • $75

Kerrin Meis offers  two lectures analyzing a brilliant selection of masterpieces from MoMA in New York City. We will study major works from the artists associated with The School of Paris: Paul Gauguin, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Andre Derain, and Georges Rouault and the artists of the Nabis group: Edouard Vuillard and Pierre Bonnard. They will be considered within the context of the evolution of Modernism as well as what they tell about the collector's taste.

Kerrin Meis taught art history at SFSU for ten years, and she leads study tours in Europe. Her Book Passage classes have been favorites for years.
