Two Fridays: Dec 6 & 13 • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm • $80

In this exciting sequel to Small Spaces Superb Collections we visit under-the-radar art museums from coast to coast. Some small, some large and hidden in plain sight, they hold major masterpieces covering 4,000 years of Western art. Studying highlights of each collection in depth, we savor the architecture, painting, and sculpture. Included are the Oriental Institute Museum in Chicago, the Taft Museum, the Chrysler Museum, and the John and Mable Ringling Museum.

Kerrin Meis taught art history at SFSU for ten years and has lead study tours in Europe. Her Book Passage classes have been favorites for years.

What Students Are Saying about Kerrin Meis

I love that Kerrin discusses little known sites and anecdotes. She makes you want to get out your map and go off the beaten path. Recently we knew the Jeopardy answer “What is the Stone of Scone?” because of her!!! Kerrin is magic. – Vikki D.
