Six Wednesdays  • June 26 – July 31 • 11:45am-1:45pm  • $200

The class will read and discuss (in Italian) Mio Fratello Rincorre i Dinosauri, a different kind of coming of age novel. The protagonist, Giacomo, writes it at the age of 19 after growing up with a disabled younger brother. It’s a story about what is important in life and the choices that we make. Of course, there are uniquely Italian twists on this theme.

Kathy Freschi has been teaching Italian for over 40 years at UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley and College of Marin. In 1987, she founded the Credit Program of Italian at College of Marin, for which she was awarded La Stella d’Italia by the Republic of Italy.
