Angela Legh (co-contributor) was born in San Francisco, California. She lived with her family in the Haight Ashbury district until 1968, when their house burned down. The family moved a lot in the next years, eventually settling in Petaluma, California after her mother divorced her father. She moved to Santa Rosa, California at the age of 20. She met and married an older man; who over time began to emotionally abuse her. In 2017, the Tubbs Fire destroyed her home, along with 5000 other dwellings in the community. The Tubbs Fire was the catalyst for significant changes and personal development growth. When Angela was stripped of everything except her marital relationship, she felt compelled to leave and begin a path of self-healing.

Her path of healing included writing her story. Angela has contributed her story in two compilation books. In addition to Ignite Your Life for Women, her second book, Choices, is due to be released shortly. Angela now works to help women to love themselves, a necessary component in making wise choices in relationships. Angela offers online workshops teaching tools for self-acceptance as well as tools for self-forgiveness. Information can be found at angelalegh.com.
