Peter Dale Scott is a former Canadian diplomat and professor emeritus of english at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to numerous volumes of poetry, including Coming to Jakarta: A Poem about Terror, his books include The American Deep State: Wall Street, Big Oil, and the Attack on U.S Democracy and Tilting Point.
