About the Author
Kevin Tracy was an underperforming student in high school with lackluster grades and content passing with a C or D letter grade. He was planning to study computer animation at an art school when the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 happened his senior year. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Air Force as an Operations Intelligence Analyst. There, he served as a multi-source analyst for Global Hawk missions and a senior correlation analyst during U-2 missions. After leaving the military, he became a counterterrorism contractor for the federal government. He led an effort to document and classify all terrorist activity in India and Sri Lanka. However, he realized he needed a college degree to be taken seriously. Using the GI Bill, Kevin went to college at Purdue Northwest and graduated in less than three years at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA. However, after being away from family for so long, he decided to stay in Northwest Indiana, where he would eventually meet his wife. After working for a few years designing power plants and programming design automation software in Chicago, he started his own graphic arts business in 2018. Now a town councilman and President of his town's Redevelopment Commission, Kevin Tracy is responsible for multi-million dollar projects and improving the lives of those living and working in his community.
