Our calendar features over 800 author events per year so we always have an exciting list of signed books available.

Do you have a signed first edition of this book?
We might! If the book is not on the list below but is a new release or we have recently had an event with the author, it is very likely that we have signed stock. You may call (415) 927-0960 and press 1 to speak to a real live bookseller who will check our stock for you. If you prefer email, you may send your inquiry to orders@bookpassage.com. (Please allow 1-2 business days for reply.)
 
How do I order a signed first edition?
Simply indicate ‘signed first edition’ in the comments field of your book order.
 
I want my book signed to me/dated/otherwise personalized.
While we can only guarantee signatures, we make every effort to offer personalization. If the author has not yet come to Book Passage we will make a request for the author to sign your book to you personally, or to the lucky recipient.
 
Can I preorder a signed book?
Absolutely! If you see an author you love coming to Book Passage you can place your order for the book and we will send it to you shortly after the event. (This is the only way we can offer personalization.)

What if you run out of signed books?
If for some reason we are unable to offer a signed copy, we will contact you. If a signed copy has been requested, we will never send an unsigned copy in its stead. The same goes for first printings.
