Preserving the legacy of the pioneers of burlesque has long been a passion of author Leslie Zemeckis. Filmmaker Leslie Zemeckis is a veteran of stage and film. A frequent contributor to Huffington Post and Stork Magazine among other publications, Zemeckis wrote, produced, and directed the critically acclaimed documentary Behind the Burly Q about old-time burlesque. Her recent documentary Bound by Flesh is the story of Siamese twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton, America’s highest paid vaudeville act.
