Small Business Saturday - Come Shop Small!

Small Business Saturday has been gaining momentum each year to the point where it has now become the day for customers to discover the independent merchants in their community. (Forget Black Friday and Cyber Monday, they are so over!).

This year, we decided to celebrate the day in our Corte Madera store by introducing several of the authors from our Path to Publishing Program, many of who are really small businesses themselves. These are authors who, for the most part, have worked with us and with mentors, book designers, editors, publicists and other top Bay Area publishing professionals. They’ve learned the intricacies and opportunities of the publishing world before beginning their own “small business”—developing their own published books.

If you are interested in learning more about Path to PublishingSam Barry, who directs the program, will be on hand throughout the day to answer your questions. Also, please come meet the authors who will be in our event room throughout most of the day!
