Path to Publishing Memoir Writers Workshop: Telling Your Story
$50 for Path to Publishing Members • $100 for Non-Members
Sunday, October 9, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Includes morning beverages, lunch with faculty, and a closing wine and cheese hour on the patio
Path to Publishing is pleased to announce a workshop designed to help memoir writers get their stories told and sold!
We’ve lined up a distinguished group of panelists – including Path to Publishing mentors, authors, literary agents, and a book designer - who will offer insight and tips on how to create a powerful story from your personal journey that will take your readers on a memorable ride!
And there’s more to learn once your story is on solid ground: getting your memoir into the world: the importance of creating a “platform;” writing an eye-catching query letter; finding and working with a literary agent; book proposals; non-traditional and self-publishing; book design; and publicity.
Don’t miss this fact-filled day with experts in the memoir writing field. We’ve built in plenty of time for Q&A, and an opportunity to lunch on the patio with our panelists.
