Kathleen Archambeau is the author of the bestselling Climbing the Corporate Ladder in High Heels and has been featured in major media from Forbes to O Magazine. She led the efforts that brought Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Tony Kushner to one of the most successful fundraisers in 10 years for one of the oldest and only mental health agencies serving the underserved queer community. A founding member of the James Hormel LGBT wing of the San Francisco Library, Archambeau promoted reading and equal access as an antidote to misinformation and fear. As a regular columnist and for one of the oldest and largest LGBTQ newspapers in America, Archambeau wrote inspiring profiles of LGBTQ artists, icons and everyday heroes which became a platform for her book, Pride & Joy.  A US Department of Education Fellow at the University of Iowa, Archambeau is a legacy donor to the famed Iowa Writers Workshop and currently teaches at Menlo College.
