Poets Eveline Kanes (A Coin Worn Thin) and MaryLee McNeal (The Way We Fall) will read from their latest collections.
Eveline Kanes is a literary translator of German poetry and prose. Her latest original collection, A Coin Worn Thin, elegantly portrays the foundational years of a young girl forced out of Germany along with other war themed narratives.
MaryLee McNeal writes fiction and poetry. Her novel, Home Again, Home Again won the Clark award at San Francisco State, and her short fiction and poetry have been published in various magazines and anthologies, including Santa Clara Review, Atlanta Review, Bellevue LIterary Review, Chautauqua, and others. She is revising a collection of linked stories, Another Wyoming, and working on a second novel, as well as new poems.
