The Lucifer Connection opens with what should have been a simple doctor’s visit. Hank Jackson looked fine to Doctor Barnstone. Perhaps he was a tad sick due to a small virus and a large amount of alcohol. But one hour later, Hank Jackson is found dead in his car and the police take a sudden interest in Barnstone.
It’s a race against time. While he struggles to solve the lethal puzzle his flower-child girlfriend and his medical colleague get marked by the spreading circle of danger. How could a murder leave no trace? Who could want Jackson killed and who would want to frame Barnstone? Can Barnstone keep probing and stay one step ahead of the SFPD and his unknown enemies?
Dr. Barnstone’s quest to find the answers that will save his life and the lives of his friends leads him into the heart of Hippie culture, the evil doings of a Satanic church, and the untrustworthy behaviors of the San Francisco Police as his life spins out of control.
