Class: Monica Wesolowska - Lost and Found

Sat., Jan. 18. 9:30-1:30pm • $65

Whatever you have lost—keys, single socks, your empathy for a nasty neighbor, your marriage, your parents, your sense of optimism in the face of loss–you can bring it back to life with words. In this class, you will read excerpts from fabulous writers working with memories, learn techniques for delving into our own, and find ways to keep working with this rich material at home.

Monica Wesolowska is the author of the memoir Holding Silvan: A Brief Life. With an introduction by Erica Jong, Holding Silvan explores motherhood, modern medicine, and grief. She has taught at UC Berkeley Extension and elsewhere for over a decade.
