This class is not just for screenwriters. It is for novelists, memoirists, personal essayists or anyone who wants to learn to get to the story fast!  We will learn the nuts and bolts – the industry accepted three-act structure of a film including plot points, subplots, character and dialogue that works. You will learn the elements of a good scene and leave ready to write your own movie and put it on its feet.

Linda Bergman is a screenwriter by trade, having written twenty-two films, five of which she produced. Her work includes Matters of the Hart, The Jessica Savitch Story and The Pearl Buck Story. Her films have been nominated for an Emmy, and the prestigious Writer’s Guild Award.  She has taught at Brown, Yale and Antioch Universities and is the author of So You Think Your Life’s A Movie – Ten Steps to a Script That Sells.
