From the Venus of Willendorf to the audacious nudes of Egon Schiele, we explore Vienna’s museums and monuments. The Kunsthistorisches Museum with its matchless collection of old masters, the remarkable Gustav Klimts at Schloss Belvedere and in the Secession Building,, the Gothic Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Baroque Karlskirche, the Ringstrasse’s historicizing styles to breathtaking Schoenbrunn Palace.

Kerrin Meis taught art history at SFSU for ten years, and she currently teaches for the OLLI programs at Dominican University and UC Berkeley. She leads study tours in Europe. Her Book Passage classes have been big favorites for years.
