Wednesday, June 21, 2017 - 4:00pm

5 Wednesdays, June 21 – July 19, 2017 • 4:00pm - 6:00pm • $160

This class will be reading a short novel entitled Scontro di civilta per un ascensore a Piazza Vittorio. It's a gently funny giallo that also examines the stereotypes and realities of immigrants living in Rome. In addition to reading the book, we will also work on conversation and listening skills, as well as review grammar topics by request.

Kate Rider studied Italian at Stanford, Middlebury College, and in Florence and Genoa. She earned a master’s degree in Italian Literature at S.F. State, and teaches Italian at Dominican University. She loves to share her passion for Italian with her students! Classes are fun and relaxed, with a variety of activities and an emphasis on practical speaking ability.
