Presence, Not Presents For Writers, Non-Writers and Pre-Writers

As Valentine’s Day approaches, give the gift of your presence by writing something from the heart: an homage, memory or love letter; a welcome to a new baby or family member; the speech you never made; a poem or story that’s waiting to be told. We’ll use guided imagery to tap into creativity, access the inner voice and the whispers of the heart. If possible, please bring a photo or an object that evokes what s/he means to you.
Catherine Flaxman is a writer and story consultant. She has sold two screenplays and received two artists’ grants from the Marin Arts Council. She is a licensed psychotherapist with a background in the creative, contemplative and expressive arts.
