What is POD?  How does it differ from self-publishing?  Will either be easier, faster, better than the route to a traditional publisher?

All authors need to investigate the most appropriate method of publication before finishing your book.  You owe it to yourself -- and your pocketbook -- to learn the advantages and pitfalls of each type.  No method is appropriate for all books and all authors.

For some methods the services provided are quite different, and the author might pay all the expenses.  Is it important that your book be eligible for review and sold in bookstores?  In the final analysis, will you earn more money with one procedure over the others?  The instructor has worked with all three publishing choices and will guide you in making this crucial decision.

Alice Acheson, a Marketing Specialist and Publishing Consultant with decades of experience, works with authors, illustrators and photographers plus large and small publishers.  She has edited books, negotiated contracts, and sold subsidiary rights. Her publicity work has been recognized with many New York Times bestsellers (four simultaneously) and a Literary Market Place Outside Services Award for Advertising, Promotion, and Publicity. Her knowledge and handouts are the key to your publishing success.
