“All Jane Austen, all the time. It’s the perfect antidote...to life!” So said Bernadette in the film The Jane Austen Book Club, and we couldn’t agree with her more! Whether you are a Janeite or a newbie, you are welcome in this salon, where we will read all six of Jane’s wonderful novels. Digging deeply, we will try to connect with and come to “know” Jane, and we will see why she continues to conquer generations of readers throughout the world. Salonniere, Liz Epstein, holds an M.A. in English Literature and has taught English at Marin Catholic and San Quentin. She facilitates book groups throughout the Bay Area.
