This group will be looking at medicine, bioethics, and philosophy from the unique perspective of literature. Subjects will include death and dying, euthanasia, doctor-patient relationships, physician dysfunction, aging, morality in medicine, medical training, mental illness, and health care policy. Lawrence White is a medical doctor, bioethicist, writer and pharmacologist.
