Agatha Kulaga & Erin Patinkin - Ovenly: Sweet & Salty Recipes from New York's Most Creative Bakery

Special Meet and Greet Event!

Ovenly is an award-winning bakery headquartered in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Since 2010, their innovative baked goods have found their way into cafés, restaurants and stores nationwide. In their first cookbook, Ovenly: Sweet and Salty Recipes from New York’s Most Creative Bakery, Agatha Kulaga and Erin Patinkin bring their knack for sweet and savory splendor to your home kitchen. Packed with the baking know-how of two straight-talking, home taught bakers and sprinkled throughout with irresistible full-color photographs, these inventive recipes are not to be missed.

Agatha Kulaga grew up in Connecticut, where some of her happiest childhood memories are of baking alongside her mother and grandmother, making old-world sweets like apple cake, poppy-seed rolled cake and fat dessert dumplings. In one lucky year, Kulaga quit her job of nearly ten years, started a business and married the man of her dreams. She has never been happier.

Erin Patinkin spent her early years in Chicago, where she developed an obsession for Vienna Beef hot dogs (ketchup is sacrilege), Big League Chew and Yan Can Cook television episodes. The day she traded business casual for an apron and clogs was the best day of her life.
