Eight Wednesdays: Jan. 9 - Feb. 27 • 9:00-11:00 am • $235A basic introduction for students who have never studied Spanish. Study guide can be purchased from the instructor at the first class.Graciela Pera was born in Buenos Aires. She is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires. She has been teaching Spanish for 35 years. She enjoys sharing her culture and language with students. Students unsure of their level will be provided with the instructor’s e-mail address in order to determine placement

Students will read authentic Italian texts and improvelistening skills.Gisella Petrone has a Masters degree from the University of Calabria. She has taught English, Italian, Latin, Roman History, and Italian cooking.

Four Wednesdays: Jan. 9-30 • 4:30-5:30 pm • $100   This fun class for middle schoolers opens the door to a bilingual education. A reading and conversational knowledge of German is valuable in business, science and international law. Hamid Emami, who also teaches at UC Berkeley Extension and College of Marin, has a Master’s degree from Universität Hamburg. He creates a truly enjoyable, friendly setting in which to learn the language.
