Dominican University of California in San Rafael offers college and graduate-level credit for select Book Passage classes and conferences.
|Those classes available for credit are indicated in the class description. Please see upcoming classes for a full list.
Credit is available for each annual Book Passage writing conference. The
purpose of this program is to nurture writers at all levels, enhance
their skills, and strengthen their connections to other writers.|
Current Dominican students may use these courses for their degree completion, dependent upon their advisor's approval.
Community members may also earn academic credit for these select Book Passage classes. Non-degree seeking students may enroll through Dominican without formal admission to the university if they wish to receive class credit. If they do, the fee they pay the university will be reduced by the amount paid for the Book Passage class.
Students will be guided by the Dominican faculty in a program of study following the class. The credits obtained can later be applied to a degree program or transferred to another college or university.
Whether or not students choose to sign up for college credit, they can expect the same tradition of strong teaching and hands-on learning that have always characterized Book Passage classes.
