About the Author

D.H. Lawrence (1885-1930) was an English writer whose work often dealt with themes of human sexuality and suffered from censorship as a result. Since his death, he has come to be regarded as a pioneer of English modernism and one of the greatest writers of his generation. He is the author of "Lady Chatterley's Lover," " Sons and Lovers," and "Women in Love."
