About the Author
Doogie Horner is a writer, illustrator, designer, and comedian. As the art director at Quirk Books he designed the "New York Times "bestsellers "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children", and hundreds of other books. His humor writing and illustration have appeared in "Wired, Fast Company, Playboy, McSweeney's, the Believer, The London Times", Boing Boing, the AV Club, and numerous other media outlets. Doogie is also the author of "100 Ghosts: A Gallery of Harmless Haunts" and "Everything Explained Through Flowcharts". In 2010 Doogie's standup comedy gained national attention on the television show "America's Got Talent". He tamed a hostile audi-ence during his NYC audition, and the performance became a viral sensation. He was pronounced Philly's Funniest by Helium Comedy Club that same year, and also won "Philadelphia Magazine's "Best of Philly Award for his alternative comedy show The Ministry of Secret Jokes in 2011. In 2013 he was selected for the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival, the Laughing Skull Festival, and Dave Chapelle's Oddball Comedy Tour. He currently lives in New York City.
