About the Author
Gannon is the chef and co-owner of Hali-imaile General Store and Joe's Bar and Grill. She trained at London's Cordon Bleu as well as taking classes with Jacques Pepin.
Friedman is the owner of Grapevine Productions, a Maui public relations firm that has represented Hali'imaile General Store since 1990. She is also a writer and journalist.
