Having moved his family to the market town of Eastvale, Chief Inspector Alan Banks is disturbed by a local crime wave and teams up with psychologist Jenny Fuller-to whom he is attracted-to find out who is targeting Eastvale women.
About the Author
Peter Robinson is an award-winning author whose novels have been named a Best Book of the Year by Publishers Weekly, a Notable Book by the New York Times, and a Page Turner of the Week by People magazine. He is widely known for his series of Inspector Banks novels, including In a Dry Season, which was nominated for an Edgar Award and won the Anthony Award. Peter was born and raised in Yorkshire, England, but has lived in North America for nearly twenty-five years. He now divides his time between North America and the United Kingdom. Mark Honan trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He is currently an affiliate artist at the Portland Stage Company, for which he plays Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol every holiday season. He has also performed in Noises Off, Dial "M" for Murder, and As You Like It. In addition, Mark has done commercial voice-overs and appears in the History Channel miniseries The Conquest of America. His audiobooks include Mr. Timothy by Louis Bayard and Dancer by Colum McCann.
