About the author
As assistant keeper of Applied Art at Sheffield City Museum from 1977 to 1988, Anneke Bambery worked with a magnificent and world-famous collection of Old Sheffield Plate.She has researched into the history of Old Sheffield Plate and has become particularly interested in the early development of the trade.
