Lewis Carroll (the pseudonym of the Rev. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) was a mathematics lecturer at Oxford University, but he is better known to the world as the author of ""Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"" (1865) and ""Through the Looking-glass"" (1871), as well as ""The Hunting of the Snark ""(1876).
Rodney Matthews was born in North Somerset, England, and after a childhood spent influenced by a creative and inventive father, he attended the West of England College of Art in England. Matthews did the artwork for a number of novels by Michael Moorcock and others, as well as for sci-fi magazines.
