DAN BIANCHI has been founder/Artistic Director of 4 international theater companies, written and directed over 50 plays and musicals, worked as screenwriter in Hollywood, won 3-times Best Director Off Broadway, the ASCAP Musical Theater Award, Billy Rose Theater Award, the National Writers Guild Screenwriting Award, a MacDowell Fellowship, and a National Humanities Grant. He founded Radiotheatre in 2004 and has since produced/ written/directed over 50 live stage productions and over 400 performances at various NYC venues. Radiotheatre has been nominated for NY Innovative Theatre Awards 13 times and 5 years in a row as Best Performance Art. He won 2008 Best Original Music and Best Sound Design. He was nominated for a 2010 Drama Desk Award. In 2014, he accepted NYIT's Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award. To date, he is the most produced living stage writer in NYC. In 2003, he created Videotheatre, NYC's only year round Digital Video-dedicated Indie theater.
