Generations of children have followed this furry, lovable bunny on his springtime journey to find a home. A family favorite since 1956, Margaret Wise Brown's simple yet playful tale is perfectly complemented by Garth Williams's exquisite artwork--and is now back in print as a Little Golden Book Classic.
About the Author
Margaret Wise Brown--probably most famous for writing "Good Night Moon "and "The Runaway Bunny"--was also a prolific and bestselling Golden Books author. Her "Golden Egg Book," "Home for a Bunny," "The Color Kittens," and "The Sailor Dog "count among the most popular storybooks for children of the last 60 years.
Garth Williams began his work on the pictures for the Little House books by meeting Laura Ingalls Wilder at her home in Missouri, and then he traveled to the sites of all the little houses. His charming art caused Laura to remark that she and her family "live again in these illustrations."
