He opened up his first signature restaurant, Wayfare Tavern, in San Francisco in 2010, followed by Rotisserie & Wine in Napa, California, and El Paseo in Mill Valley, California, in 2011. He is a cofounder of the organic baby food company Sprout and also owns several retail kitchen shops. Tyler lives in Mill Valley, California, with his wife and three children.
